Hope for the World -
Ukraine
Laura Galloway
Currently there are 2
main focuses of our ministry in Ukraine. One is
using English as a tool for evangelism. This is
mainly done through a weekly Bible study geared for
those who want to improve their English.
We use the
Bible study as an opportunity to build relationships
with these people, to help them understand the
Gospel and to invite them to church. We also plan
fellowship activities such as movie night, Sunday
lunch after the morning worship service, ... We are
also prayerfully considering an English camp this
summer.
The
other main focus is reaching out to orphaned and
abandoned children. This has included regularly
visiting the local preschool orphanage, humanitarian
aid, summer camps, and other various outreaches.
We
are hoping to expand this ministry through the local
church to include regularly visiting the local baby
orphanage, various humanitarian aid projects and
whatever else God opens the door for us to do!
In His Service,
Laura and Vova
